Fray Bentos, makers of the iconic tinned meat pie, has gone vegetarian for the first time in its 140-year history.
The brand, founded in 1881 and owned by Baxters since 2011, is launching its first ever meat-free snack.
The Fray Bentos Vegetarian Balti pie is packed with potato, onion, red pepper, tomato, carrot and peas in a spicy balti sauce, topped with puff pastry, and is ready to eat after 25 minutes in the oven.
