"Gently caramelised shallots combine deliciously with balsamic vinegar. Enjoy with steak and halloumi.
Mild, Sweet Shallots are slowly and gently caramelised with Butter and a little Sugar. Italian Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI adds an intense brown colour and richness with bitter-sweet woody overtones. Yellow Mustard Seeds add texture and give the relish a light spice along with Cayenne Pepper.
Use as a Glaze or Serve On The Side for Grilled / BBQ'd Red Meats (Steak, Burgers), Sausages, Halloumi Cheese, Ribs or Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus. Serve on the side for Roast Beef / Pork or add to liven up a Casserole or Gravy, or use to Glaze Roasted Root Vegetables".
