Baxters Deli Toppers - Ultimate Gourmet Topped Burger Recipe

  • 500g minced beef
  • 100g caramelised onion
  • 1g thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper

Top Hack! If you haven't got time for caramelised onions, simply chop up the Deli Toppers Red Onion Topper and use as an alternative.

To Serve:

  • 4 brioche buns
  • Mayonnaise
  • Rocket leaves
  • Sliced fresh tomato
  • Monterey Jack cheese slices
  • Baxters Deli Toppers Red Onion


  1. Mix the minced meat with the onions and thyme and season. Mix well
  2. Form 4 separate 200g patties and shape. Chill for 30 minutes to set
  3. In a hot pan cook the burgers for 3 minutes either side.
  4. Place a slice of cheese on each burger and set aside
  5. Toast the brioche buns
  6. To assemble sperad the mayo on the base of each bun,. Layer up tomato, rocket, burger and cheese
  7. Layer on the Baxters Deli Toppers Red Onion
